The Summer of Love and Music festival was set up as an event by a singer/songwriter called J.C. Leonard.

His love of music led him to organise a festival of love, peace and music to help aid many charities throughout the world.

The SOLAM festival will return in 2010 and run from July 31st until the August 1st at The Red Bull in Malmesbury, there are two playing fields that will be used to host the event with one for camping and the other for the main event

The first SOLAM festival took place on the 1st and 2nd of August 2009 at The Mermaid Inn, Christian Malford, Nr Chippenham, Wilts and raised £639.79 for Shelter and The Halo Trust. Some of the musical highlights of the weekend were, Napolean In Rags, The Melo D's, Buswell, The Sweet Plums and Headliners The Volt on the Sunday night
